Alina Wilczynski is a Light Painting Artist and an Adjunct Professor of Photography within the Visual Communications Department of the School of Business at Farmingdale State College (SUNY).
Wilczynski utilizes Light Painting photography, together with real-time computational Video Light Painting and various lighting technologies, to give participants interactive experiences that are inclusive of everyone — all ages and abilities — as participants, free-flowing creators and active learners.
Wilczynski’s work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the NYC-Metro area, including being a featured artist at MoCA L.I.ghts, the largest annual projection arts festival on Long Island, NY. She facilitates workshop intensives, talks, demonstrations and collaborative projects at grade schools and colleges, libraries and community centers that explore visualization concepts and movement studies in the realms of music interpretation to movement as medicine, brand culture to mountain biking, natural sciences to the world's largest Tesla coil.
