Shannon Martin

Shannon Martin is a fashion designer, patternmaker, and seamstress. Her work is focused on building up the inherent beauty and value of each of her clients. She spent seven years immersed in the fashion industry, designing, creating, and altering wedding gowns and high-end clothing. Since transitioning into education, she builds up her students’ esteem and encourages their creative abilities in a similar manner to constructing clothing, piecing together elements of their personalities to create cohesion.

Shannon completed her BFA (Hons) in Fashion Design Technology at the University of the Arts London in 2011. She has an AAS in Apparel Design from Nassau Community College and began her design education at Western Suffolk BOCES during high school.
