Pam Gustafson
Pam Gustafson earned herMaster of Library Science and Master of History degrees from LIU Post and holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Education Leadership Management from Northeastern University. She is an academic specialist with SUNY EmpireState College and the certified school librarian at Bayport-Blue Point HighSchool. Prior to this, she was at LIU Post for about 15 years as the AssistantDirector of the LIU Post Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program as well as served on advisory and educational committees for the American PsychologicalAssociation (APA), Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), and the NationalAssociation for Graduate Admissions Professionals (NAGAP). She has taught college writing as well as freshmen English courses and is also a freelanceeditor, researcher, and sometimes social media manager. She has published book reviews and trade journal articles as well as co-authored a peer-reviewed scholarly article. She is co-author on a book coming out from Oxford UniversityPress in Fall 2023 upon completing theses and dissertations in applied psychology fields. In her free time, she writes, paints, and tries not to kill things in her garden. She lives in Patchogue with her two sons.
