Joy Zacharia has over 30 years of experience conducting formative and summative evaluations using both experimental and quasi-experimental designs. As Metis’s most experienced Senior Research Associate, Joy has managed and participated in a wide range of evaluation projects. She most recently led the evaluation of the Eastern Suffolk BOCES AEMDD and currently directs the evaluations of two New York City Magnet Schools Assistance Programs and two Full-Service Community Schools Programs, one in New York City and the other in the Vancouver. Joy leads the PEACE project evaluation collaborating closely with the Patchogue Arts Council, the Eastern Suffolk BOCES, and other cultural partner organizations. She holds a M.A. in Educational Psychology from New York University.
